Active ingredient and uses
Active ingredient: stannous fluoride 0.454% (0.15% w/v fluoride ion).
Uses: helps prevent cavities, control bleeding gums, interfere with plaque effects associated with gingivitis, and build protection against sensitivity to cold, heat, acids, sweets or contact.
Directions
Adults and children 12 years and older: apply at least a 1-inch strip to a soft-bristle toothbrush.
Brush for at least 1 minute twice daily, morning and evening, and no more than 3 times daily, or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Minimize swallowing and spit out.
Children under 12: consult a dentist or doctor.
Warnings
Stop and ask a dentist if the problem persists or worsens, sensitivity remains after 4 weeks, or gingivitis, bleeding or redness lasts more than 2 weeks. Seek dental care for painful or swollen gums, pus, loose teeth or increasing spaces. Keep out of reach of children. If more than used for brushing is swallowed, get medical help or contact Poison Control. Store at or below 25°C (77°F).
