A caregiver-operated nasal aspirator that draws mucus from a baby’s nose through a collection bulb. Its one-way mouthpiece prevents blowing air into the nose, and the disposable filter separates the suction pathway.
Product details
Product: NeilMed Naspira Nasal-Oral Aspirator for Babies & Kids. Format: Nasal-oral suction system; it can also be used as a bulb aspirator.
How to use
Secure the baby comfortably upright or semi-upright. Place the bulb tip at the nostril and apply very gentle suction through the mouthpiece. Saline drops may first loosen thick mucus. Repeat as needed according to the illustrated guide.
Cleaning and filter care
Disassemble, remove the filter, and wash the other components with warm dishwashing-detergent solution; rinse thoroughly. Follow the manufacturer’s disinfection guide and cool and air-dry before reassembly. Replace the filter if mucus-soiled, after the acute illness ends, or weekly during use. Never wash or sterilize a contaminated filter for reuse.
Is dishwasher cleaning enough?
No. Dishwasher jets do not adequately reach the narrow internal components. Follow the full cleaning procedure. Keep the device and small parts away from children; an adult should operate it.
No. It is a caregiver-operated nasal aspirator. Follow the device instructions for gentle suction, cleaning its components and replacing the disposable filter.
