Product and pack: Fleet Saline Enema, 2 x 4.5 fl oz. Active ingredients: Monobasic sodium phosphate 19 g and dibasic sodium phosphate 7 g per 118 mL delivered dose.
How to use
Age 12+: one bottle per 24 hours. Do not combine with another sodium-phosphate product. Ages 2–11 require the pediatric enema; under 2, do not use. Follow the carton’s positioning and insertion instructions. If there is no urge after five minutes, try to empty the bowel. Never repeat a dose to compensate for lack of effect.
Before use
Do not use beyond three days, with kidney disease, heart problems or dehydration, or for abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting without a doctor’s direction. Ask a doctor if 55+, sodium restricted, bowel habits changed for over two weeks, or laxatives were used for over one week. Ask during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and call a doctor for bleeding, dehydration symptoms, or no bowel movement or liquid output within 30 minutes.
Does a two-bottle pack allow two doses in one day?
No. More than one enema in 24 hours can be harmful, regardless of pack size.
