Sanjin Xiguashuang Throat Tablets are a traditional lozenge-style preparation in a pack of 36 tablets, each weighing 0.6 g.
Ingredients and intended format
The manufacturer's formula includes watermelon frost, borneol, peppermint oil and menthol, with sweetening and other tablet ingredients. They dissolve in the mouth and are distinct from the Xiguashuang powder and other tablets in the range.
Using the tablets
Let the tablet dissolve slowly according to the received package's frequency and serving amount. Do not swallow a handful or increase use because the cooling sensation fades. Check the label before use in children, and supervise anyone at risk of choking.
Before use
Review sucrose and other inactive ingredients if you have diabetes or sensitivities. Ask about pregnancy, breastfeeding, chronic illness and other medicines. Seek care for pus on the tonsils, fever over 38.5°C, severe mouth symptoms or breathing/swallowing difficulty. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days, stop self-treatment and obtain advice.
