Uses
Temporarily relieves local itching, burning and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids. It forms a protective coating over inflamed or irritated tissue, helps prevent drying, and protects perianal and anorectal surfaces during bowel movements.
Directions
Adults: when practical, cleanse with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and pat or blot dry before applying.
Apply liberally to the affected area up to 2 times daily or after each bowel movement, following the package.
For intrarectal use, attach the applicator, lubricate it well with ointment and insert gently. Stop and consult a doctor promptly if insertion causes additional pain.
Children under 12: consult a doctor.
Warnings
For external and/or intrarectal use only. Do not use if allergic to an ingredient and do not exceed the recommended number of daily uses.
Stop and ask a doctor if bleeding occurs, the condition worsens or it does not improve within 7 days.
The label states not to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and to consult a health professional before use.
