BProtected Pedia Poly-Vite Drops with Iron is a liquid multivitamin supplement for infants and toddlers. The 50 mL bottle is labeled with natural fruit flavor and an alcohol- and sugar-free formula.
Selecting the iron version
This is the With Iron product. It differs from standard Poly-Vite drops, and serving directions must not be transferred between versions. A child's feeding pattern, diet and other supplements determine whether added iron is appropriate.
Measuring a serving
Ask the pediatric clinician to confirm the need and dose. Use the package's marked measuring device and mL scale; do not estimate drop counts or use a household spoon. Follow the bottle for shaking, administration, storage and the period of use after opening.
