Unscented foam containing 5% minoxidil for men's hereditary thinning at the top of the scalp (vertex). One 60 g (2.11 oz) can.

Application and results

• Apply half a capful to the affected scalp twice daily; massage with fingers and wash hands.
• Extra applications do not improve results. Regrowth may begin after 2 months; some men need 4 months. Continued treatment maintains regrowth.

Check suitability first

Not for women, anyone under 18, frontal baldness or a receding hairline. Do not use for sudden, patchy or unexplained loss, without a family history, on an irritated or infected scalp, or alongside other scalp medicines. Heart disease requires a doctor's advice.

When to stop

Consult a doctor for chest pain, a racing heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, unexplained weight gain, swelling, scalp irritation, unwanted facial hair, or no regrowth after 4 months.

Handling

Avoid eyes and other body areas. Extremely flammable: avoid flames and smoking. Keep the pressurized can away from heat; never puncture it. Store at 20–25°C. Keep away from children.
