Naphcon-A, 0.5 fl oz, combines naphazoline hydrochloride 0.025% and pheniramine maleate 0.3% for temporary relief of eye redness and itching caused by pollen, ragweed, grass and animal dander.
Directions
Adults and children six years and older: put one or two drops into the affected eye(s) up to four times daily. For children under six, ask a doctor. Remove contact lenses before use.
Before use
Ask a doctor first about narrow-angle glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure or trouble urinating. Do not use if allergic to an ingredient or the solution is cloudy or discolored.
When to stop
Overuse can worsen redness; pupils may temporarily enlarge. Stop and seek advice for eye pain, vision changes, or redness or irritation that worsens or lasts more than 72 hours.
Bottle care
Do not touch the tip to any surface; recap after use. Follow labelled storage directions and protect from light. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical help; ingestion can be especially dangerous for young children.
