First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test is a two-test kit that detects the pregnancy hormone hCG in urine.
When to test
Can detect pregnancy as early as 6 days before a missed period, which is 5 days before the expected period. An early negative result does not rule out pregnancy. Accuracy is over 99% from the expected-period day in laboratory testing.
How to use
Use a fresh test immediately after opening. Hold the absorbent tip in the urine stream or dip the entire tip in a clean urine sample for 5 seconds. Replace the cap and lay flat with the window up. Wait 3 full minutes; read within 10 minutes. Two pink lines indicate pregnant, even if one is faint; no lines means invalid.
Next steps and care
If negative and the period does not arrive, retest according to the insert and contact a clinician if it remains absent. Confirm a positive result with a healthcare professional. Single use only; check expiration, store dry below 86°F and do not freeze.
