Nutramigen, 13 fl oz liquid concentrate, is hypoallergenic infant formula with extensively hydrolyzed protein for cow's milk allergy. This format must be diluted before feeding and should be selected with your baby's clinician.
Preparation
Wash hands and clean bottles and utensils. Clean the can lid, shake the can well and open it. Mix equal volumes of water and concentrated liquid, then shake or stir thoroughly. Do not feed the concentrate undiluted or use ready-to-feed instructions.
Feeding considerations
Do not assume the LGG powder's ingredient profile applies to liquid concentrate. Refrigerate opened and prepared formula as its can directs; discard leftovers after a feed.
Handling and storage
Keep unopened containers at room temperature, away from extreme heat. Check the seal and expiry date. Never microwave formula; warm gently if needed and check temperature before feeding.
Before use
Powder is not sterile. Ask your healthcare team about water preparation and additional precautions for premature babies or those with immune problems. Never microwave a bottle; uneven heating can burn. Check the expiry date and intact seal before use.
