Uses

Treats frequent heartburn as a 14-day course. It may take one to four days for full effect and is not intended for immediate relief of a single episode.

How to use

Adults ages 18 and older: take one capsule with water before eating in the morning, every day for 14 days. Swallow whole without chewing or opening the capsule. Do not take more than one capsule daily. Do not extend the course beyond 14 days or repeat it more often than every four months unless a doctor directs you. People under 18: ask a doctor.

Important safety information

Do not use for trouble or pain swallowing, vomiting blood, or bloody or black stools. Heartburn accompanied by sweating, dizziness, shortness of breath or spreading chest pain may signal a serious condition and requires prompt medical help. Ask a doctor about heartburn lasting over three months, unexplained weight loss or recurrent stomach pain, and ask a doctor or pharmacist about prescription medicines.

Does a 28- or 42-capsule pack mean continuous daily treatment?

No. A larger pack contains more than one 14-day course; the same course limits apply. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
