Neosporin Original is a first-aid antibiotic ointment for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. This 0.5 oz (14.2 g) Original formula has no added pain reliever.
Active ingredients in each gram
Bacitracin zinc 400 units
Neomycin sulfate 3.5 mg
Polymyxin B sulfate 5,000 units
Directions
Clean the affected area and apply a small amount, about the surface area of a fingertip, one to three times daily. A sterile bandage may be used.
Warnings
External use only. Do not use in the eyes, over large areas, or if allergic to an ingredient.
Ask a doctor before use on deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns.
Stop and ask a doctor if use is needed longer than one week, the condition persists or worsens, or a rash or allergic reaction develops.
