Mederma Advanced Scar Gel is a once-daily topical treatment that helps improve the appearance of old and new scars from acne, burns, injuries or surgery.
What to expect
The gel contains Cepalin botanical extract and allantoin. Consistent use can help soften and smooth the appearance of a scar; results vary, and an indented scar will not fill in.
How to apply
Gently massage a small amount into closed, healed skin once daily. Use for at least 8 weeks on new scars or 3–6 months on existing scars. Start only after the scab has fallen off naturally and stitches have been removed.
Before use
Do not apply to broken skin, deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. Avoid the eyes. Stop and ask a doctor if irritation worsens or persists. Keep out of children's reach; this product is for external use only.
