Leader Mucus Relief DM Maximum Strength contains 24 immediate-release tablets for cough and chest congestion.
Active ingredients
Each tablet contains dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg to suppress cough and guaifenesin 400 mg to help loosen mucus. These are immediate-release tablets, with a different interval from 12-hour Mucus Relief DM.
Directions
Adults and children age 12 and older: take 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12: do not use. Check the supplied Drug Facts to confirm the 20 mg/400 mg formula.
Before use
Do not take with an MAOI or within 14 days of stopping one. Avoid duplicate cough medicines and ask a pharmacist about other antidepressants. Ask a doctor for chronic cough, excessive phlegm, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop for cough lasting over 7 days, returning, or occurring with fever, rash or persistent headache. Seek urgent help for breathing difficulty.
