On December 10, Dr. Chen Wenduo co-hosted a dental education lecture at the Huace Association Fushou Senior Center in partnership with Ankangning Pharmacy, and shared the following dental care tips for your reference.

1. Daily Oral Care
a. Brush your teeth twice daily, once in the morning and once at night, and choose an appropriate toothbrush
b. Properly use dental floss, interdental floss, and WaterFloss
c. Rinse your mouth after meals, and use a mouthwash once before bed
d. Properly care for dentures
2. Regular Oral Examinations and Prompt Treatment
a. Typically get a dental checkup and cleaning every six months
i. Periodontal health is associated with heart health, diabetes, arthritis, and Alzheimer's disease
b. A small cavity left untreated will develop into a painful, large one
c. Promptly replace missing teeth
